It is my great privilege to be the Chief of Police for the City of Grandview Heights. As the Chief, I have made a commitment to provide the highest quality professional law enforcement services to the people of Grandview Heights and to do everything necessary to strengthen the relationship between the community and the police. I firmly believe that the citizens and the police must work as partners and that we work best when we work together. Working in coordination and cooperation with other city departments and community organizations, I hope to establish coalitions to successfully develop comprehensive solutions to community problems, to combating crime and to improving our quality of life.

The partnership between the police and the community is built on trust. The Grandview Heights Division of Police will strive to inspire the public trust and confidence through shared information, education, honesty, integrity, fairness and ethical behavior. We will work to preserve the rights of each citizen and will be resolute in our efforts to maintain the highest standards. 

I value input from the community and invite your thoughts and comments concerning what you like about the Division of Police and what you feel may need improvement. I believe that no institution is perfect and understand the need to be flexible and to change as required to best protect and serve our citizens.
